Main Landing Gear Installation

1. Gather the landing gear parts as shown below.

Landing gear strut, 4 mounting bolts, washers,

and lock washers, landing gear cover with

mounting screws, gear cuffs, and mounting

screws.

2. Remove landing gear cover from fuse.

3. Place a few drops of thin CA in the gear cover

mounting holes to harden the wood.

4. Note that the trailing edge of the landing gear

strut is tapered. The tapered edge goes toward

the rear of the fuselage.
