1. Gather the following material for making a

cowl cutout template. Use a large envelope or

cardboard file folder for template material.

COWL INSTALLATION

2. Measure and mark the center of the template

as shown.

3. Measure 3/8” from the edge of the template as

shown.

4. Draw a line 3/8” from the edge of the template

as shown. This will allow for the overhang of

the cowling behind the front former.
